The primary mission of IRC Government Channel network is to provide live gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Board of County Commissioners, Planning & Zoning Commission meetings. However, when those boards are not meeting, the Government Channel provides coverage of various public affairs events. The Government Channel streaming operation provides programming by governmental bodies and agencies to inform residents and encourage participation in local government.
